The Mental Health Clinic of Passaic is open for teleheath services. You can call the Clinic phone numbers to reach staff remotely. During these unprecedented times, we are doing all we can to keep our staff safe while still serving the needs of our community.
The Community Care Program is a community-based, family-oriented specialized outpatient mental health service for seriously emotionally disturbed Passaic County youths and their families. The Program has been in operation continuously since 1982. The goal of the Community Care Program is to mainstream the identified child into the community. By meeting the child’s and family’s mental health needs as well as ensuring positive and optimal functioning in all relevant life spheres, this goal can be met.
The Program uses a multi-disciplinary team approach, integrating a range of services and interventions detailed in the individualized treatment plan for each child and family.
Appointments may be scheduled before, during, or after office hours. Psychiatric interventions are scheduled at our Passaic site during office hours. The Community Care Program staffing pattern includes a licensed supervisor and two full-time and one half-time Masters level clinicians, plus access to all the out-patient psychiatrists. Staff is fluent in English and Spanish.
The Community Care Program is licensed for Children’s Outpatient Service by the
New Jersey Department of Human Services,
