The Ida Gurtman Therapeutic Children’s Program is a specialized, partial care/day treatment program for children between the ages of 2½ and 6 years whose emotional problems interfere with their daily functioning.
The program services children and their families in one of two three-hour sessions, either
9:00 am to 12 noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Monday through Friday.
The Ida Gurtman Therapeutic Children’s Program uses a multi-disciplinary approach to make a range of services available to all children and their families. In a nurturing, structured, therapeutic environment children interact with peers and adults, learning positive, developmentally appropriate socialization skills. Families learn to function more positively, supportively, and effectively.
The Program has been in continuous operation year round since its inception.
